The Hamster LOVING Machine

Filed under: Navigating Life — admin at 10:59 pm on Monday, March 20, 2006

As a tribute to Hamsters and their roles in the food chain, I would now like to introduce this post as another tribute to Hamster Cage Fighting.

Ironically, the Hamster debuting in this cage match doesn’t put up much of a fight. Indeed, he has learned true peace with his neighbors. Check it out.

or maybe it’s just that his predator has become vegetarian?

Have you seen the Hampster-Fighting-Machine?

Dude, have you seen this?

To continue on the recent theme of ring-fighting, I just HAD to include this. It’s so cute. Don’t you think? I wonder if Vegas is gonna take bets anytime soon.

More on Fighting – Ultimate Fighting

Filed under: Navigating Life — admin at 8:51 am on Saturday, March 18, 2006

So I have no idea how my last blog post turned into a talk about fighting…and then pictures of my “days of yore.”

However, fighting and stuff has been on my mind increasingly in the past few days. Here’s an article I read in the Wall Street Journal the other day that says the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is rising like no other competitive fighting sport (in entertainment).

Today’s UFC is almost a far cry from the original UFC days of Gracie and Shamrock. But hey, fighting technique evolves quick…and so does the business of selling the fights.

Man, I remember those days when I watched the original UFC with Gracie and Shamrock – those were good days. Actually that was a time back in the “days of yore.” Oh well. These are new days, with new bouts to be fought.

I talk about Work too much

Filed under: Navigating Life — admin at 8:38 pm on Wednesday, March 15, 2006

Anthony complains that I talk about work too much in my blog. And I agree. In fact, that’s what my last blog post on SAP dreams was intended to convey. Welcome to my world. Why don’t you have dreams of my blog articles, and then have dreams about my dreams too.

Ha. But in actuality, I been talking about working all along since I started this blog. Afghanistan, in my opinion, was one long working experience. And the experience is still working me to this day. Now that’s some dreams.

Speaking of dreams, since I skipped work the last few days, I’ve been having dreams OTHER than SAP Dreams. Amazing isn’t it? What have I been dreaming about?

Well last night I dreamed that Anthony, myself, Bob, and an old classmate from grade school that I really hated – we all went into this virtual reality hand-to-hand combat environment. It was weird. We each had a samurai sword and a huge hammer. And we slayed a bunch of virtual opponents, went to lunch, had a couple beers, laughed a bit, then went back at it. It was good martial arts practice and good fun. I have no idea how my old classmate got into there. But it does bring back memories of the days of yore:

Yes, I was quite skinny, agile, and talented in the days of yore. Look at that. Now that’s ferocity. I’m about to break John’s arm into a thousand pieces.

That’s me holding a nice board for Michael to sit-down-kick. Good boy. Snapped that shit clean. And Yes, my hair was taller than Shaq at that time in my life. You’d be surprised how many permutations and enhancements my hair has gone through in the past 24 years.

That’s Anthony flying because he got kicked by Lee Ann – who is behind him. Sorry if I spelled your name wrong, Lee Ann. = \. Man, that bitch was way skinny back then. Skinnier than me. Shnaps. Now he’s 4 times my weight [Anthony].

With that, let us all have some Patience.
